The Nation Building Committee (NBC) is a committee of twenty-four delegates representing twelve key countries in a simulation of a historical event. Its goal is to resolve regional disputes between nations or ethnic parties in these time periods and seek to problem solve to yield optimal outcomes.

Each of the two delegates per country has a different concentration. These concentrations are divided into the subcommittees listed below.

  • Economic, Social, and Humanitarian
  • Political, Legal, and Security

Delegates initially meet in one of the two assigned subcommittees, and committee proceedings eventually move to the entire committee debating resolutions collectively. NBC’s goal is to write a cohesive Peace Plan composed of passed resolutions and amendments to address the conflict by the conclusion of conference.
